Description
Black and white image of a bunch of blooming anemone blanda flowers growing by a path in a park. The name is said to come from the Greek word "anemo" meaning "the wind". Anemones are herbaceous plants related to the buttercups and have wind-blown seeds. Commonly known as wind-flowers, they have feathery tips of the seed that bend in the wind before detaching.
