Benches located in an alcove within the Forbidden City in Beijing China. The Forbidden City was the Chinese imperial palace from the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) to the end of the Qing Dynasty (1644-1912).

Oh I love this - very much. I think I may even have a similar composition from the Forbidden City. The one shot where I did not have people in it... LOL. It was such a great experience to walk through the Forbidden City and witness its beauty. Glad to have this image as a reminder.

I was lucky that not many people were there when I visited. Probably because of the cold. So glad I had the opportunity to see several historical sites in China :-)
